Thari unda is a very tasty and traditional kerala sweet that's quick and easy to make.The gentle sweetness with the texture of roasted rava makes this sweet an all time favourite snack for everyone.
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves- 8.Will make around 20-25 ladoos
Semolina- 2 cups
Raisins- 3 tblspn
Grated coconut- 1.5 cups
Ghee- 5 tblspn
Cardamom powder- a pinch
Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew and raisins to it and sauté for 2 minutes.Collect the roasted cashew and raisins and keep aside.
Add the semolina in the same pan containing ghee and roast for 5 minutes.Add sugar, coconut and cardamom powder and mix well until combined. This will take around 15 minutes in medium flame.
Make small balls out of the mixture while still hot. If the heat goes away it will break.
Yummy and soft ladoos are ready to be served with masala chai.
