Home Style Chicken Curry

This home style chicken curry is simple and tasty and is prepared frequently in my house. The combination of aromatic and easily available ingredients make this a quick and tasty curry dish. It tastes best with Naan or plain basmati rice.


Preparation time- 10 minutes
Cooking time- 20 minutes
Serves- 6
Ingredients:

Boneless chicken- 2lb
Onions- 2 medium size
Tomato -  2 medium size
Red chilli powder- 1 tspn
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Coriander powder- 1 tspn
Paprika powder- a pinch
Red chillies- 3
Curry leaves- 1 stem
Cloves- 2
Cinnamon stick- 1 small pieces
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tspn
Coconut oil- 2 tblspn
Coriander leaves to garnish
Salt

Method of Preparation

Heat oil in a pan and add the red chillies, curry leaves, cloves and cinnamon stick to it.Add onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, paprika, coriander powder and ginger garlic paste and saute for 10 minutes in medium heat.
Add the boneless chicken pieces and tomatoes and cook till the chicken is well cooked.Add little water only if needed.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
