Meat Balls in Spicy Tomato Gravy

Cooking time: 50 minutes

Minced Meat - 500 gm( chicken or beef)
Garlic paste- 2tspn
Pepper powder- ½ tspn
Green chillies – 4 chopped
Onion chopped – 3 medium size
Ginger paste – tspn
Garlic paste-1 tspn
Tomato – 2-3
Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – a small pinch
Extra Virgin olive Oil- 2tblspn
Cloves - 2
Bay leaves - 2
Pepper corns- 2
Curry Leaves -1 stem
Salt to taste
Mint leaves- 2
Coriander leaves-to garnish

Method of Prepraration
Combine the minced meat, pepper powder ,green chillies , garlic paste and salt and mix well in bowl.Keep aside for minimum 30 minutes.

Heat Oil in a pan and add cloves and bay leaves.Add chopped onion to this and sauté for till the onion turns light golden in colour.
Add ginger and garlic paste and chopped tomatoes and all the masala powder.Add the curry leaves and mint leaves and sauté for 10 minutes.Add ½ cup of water and cook in medium heat for 5 minutes.
Make the minced meat mix into small bowls and add to the hot gravy one at a time.Simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chappatis or plain rice.
