Malabar Chicken Fry Masala

Cooking time : 30 minutes
Serves : 4
Chicken- 2lb
Onion - 3
Tomatoe- 2
Green chillies-5
Garlic paste- 1 tspn
Coriander powder - 1 tspn
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Salt to taste
Extra virgin olive oil- 2 tblspn

To marinate
Chilli powder -1 tblspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Cooking oil- 3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Method Of Preparation

Marinate the chicken pieces with chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and keep aside for a minimum of 30 minutes.Heat oil in a kadai and fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan and add onion, garlic paste, green chillies and salt and saute for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoe and masalas and ad saute for 5 minutes.Add the fried chicken pieces, add 1/2 cup water and slow cook for 10 minutes.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
