Naadan Erachi Vattichadu(Beef in a simple gravy)
Cooking time : 30 minutes
Serves - 6
Beef - 1 kg
Onion - 2 medium sized
Tomato - 2
Green Chillies - 6
Garlic paste- 2 tspn
Ginger paste - 1 tspn
Chilli powder - 3 tspn
Coriander powder - 3 tblspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Water- 1 cup
Coriander leaves to garnish
Extra Virgin Olive oil - 3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Method of Preparation :
1.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and the finely chopped onions and green chillies into it. Fry till the onions becomes golden brown in colour.
2.Add ginger paste, garlic paste and tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes.
3.Add the masala powders and saute for around 10 minutes.
4.Add the cleaned beef pieces to it and saute in medium flame.
5. Add 1 cup of water(or more depending upon the amount of gravy you want).Close the lid and pressure cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis or parathas.
