Spring Rolls

Cooking time : 25 minutes
Serves : Around 12 rolls


All purpose flour - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Salt to taste

For the stuffing

Chicken - 250 gm
Onion - 2
Green Chillies - 4
Coriander powder - 1
Garam Masala - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Ginger Garlic paste - 1tpn
Salt to taste
Refined oil for frying

For the coating

Bread crumps - 1 cup
Egg white - 3

Method of Preparation

1.Marinate the chicken pieces with chilli powder and salt and keep for half an hour.Deep fry the chicken pieces.

2.Make thin pancakes from the flour batter.You can find the detailed description at Pancakes.

3.Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and salt ans saute well.

4.Shred the fried chicken pieces and mix it with the masala in the pan and saute well for 5 minutes.

5.Take a tblspn of the filling and fill it in the pancakes.Fold accordingly .Dip it in egg white and roll it in bread crumps.

6.Heat oil in a kadai and fry the spring rolls till it becomes golden in colour.Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any sauce of your choice.
