Nadan Beef Curry

This is an easy to make and spicy dish that tastes best with puri or chapatis. It tastes good with steam cake too.This is a dish which can be made anytime without buying any additional ingredients.It requires just the masalas we use on a daily basis and so saves a lot of time.Hope you enjoy it!

Cooking time : 25 minutes

Serves - 6

Ingredients :

Beef - 1 kg
Onion - 2 medium sized
Tomato - 2
Green Chillies - 4
Garlic paste- 2 tspn
Ginger paste - 2 tspn
Chilli powder - 3 tspn
Coriander powder - 3 tblspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala- 1 tspn
Pepper - 1 tspn
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
Water- 1 cup
Coriander leaves to garnish
Olive oil or Refined oil(I usually use olive oil for all my cooking) - 3 tblspn
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation :

1.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and put the cumin seeds in to.When the seeds pop add the finely chopped onions and green chillies into it. Fry till the onions becomes golden brown in colour.

2.Add ginger and garlic paste.

3.Add the masala powders and saute for around 10 minutes.

4.Add the cleaned beef pieces and tomato into it and fry for around 10 minutes.

5. Add 1 cup of water(or more depending upon the amount of gravy you want).Close the lid and pressure cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.

6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis or parathas.
