Malabar Mutton Masala

Mutton Masala is a tangy and very spicy dish which is very popular in the Malabar region.It tastes delicious with pathiri or parathas.I like it best with pathiri.I simply love cooking and eating this spicy yummy dish.It's a true delight for mutton lovers!

Cooking time : 25 min
Serves - 4

Ingredients :

Mutton - 500 gm
Onions - 2(Medium size)
Tomato - 2
Garlic paste - 2 tspn
Ginger paste - 1 tspn
Chilli powder - 1 tblspn
Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
Meat Masala - 1 tblspn
Scallions - 1 cup(Chopped)
Olive oil - 1 tblspn

Method of Preparation :

1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the chopped onions to it.Saute till the onions becomes golden brown in colour.

2.Add garlic paste, ginger paste and salt.Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and meat masala.Saute for 5 minutes.

3.Add mutton pieces and tomatoe and saute for 5 minutes.

4.Add one cup of water and pressure cook the mutton masala.

5.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
