Keema Masala

Keema or mince may be made with any meat of your preference. Keema Masala tastes delicious with Chappatis, Puri or Parathas.

Cooking time - 25 minutes
Serves - 4

Ingredients :

2.Onion- 2 medium sized
4.Garlic paste-2 tspn
5.Ginger paste-2 tspn
6.Curry Leaves-10
7.Cumin seeds- 1/2 tspn
8.Chilli powder- 2tspn
9.Coriander powder-3 tspn
10.Turmeric powder -1/2 tspn
11.Garam Masala- 1 tspn
12.Green chillies- 4
13.Bay leaves-2
14.Cilantro - A small bunch to garnish
15.Lime- 1-2 tblspn
16. Olive oil-3 tblspn
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation ;
Heat the olive oil and put the thinly cut onions into it.Put garlic paste, ginger paste,bay leaves, curry leaves and cumin seeds and fry for around 10 minutes in medium flame. Put the tomatoes and chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala and saute for 5 minutes.Next put the keema into it and mix well(Put little water only if needed)Close the lid and fry for around 10 minutes in low flame(Stir occasionally to prevent burning).Add the lime juice once its cooked and mix well.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and your keema masala is ready to serve.
